old saw "Müllis Ferdi"
The old saw in the Rasafeibach Latschau after the field names "Mülli" (which recalls the Mülli to the 20th century near-driven flour mill) and the previous owner named Ferdinand Loretz. The family acquired Loretz 1849, the 18th since the Century saw operated by siblings Gavanesch. The current state is essentially the same in 1907. Back then it was converted to a so-called Venetian gates from parts of a saw in Frastanz. In the brick basement overshot wooden waterwheel is the (average 4.1 m), which drives the Radstube transmission. These provide two eccentric wheels and stilts for the up and down movements of the Venetian gate, a simple vertical saw with automatic feed. A hand winch the logs are brought on side of Bloch car. The saw is fully functional and is operating a museum under the Aqua-trail Tschagguns.
